Hera

History

Hera is the wife of Zeus and is one of the twelve Olympic Gods. As the patron goddess of marriage, she sees her husband's love affairs with anger and rage and bears a grudge against his illegitimate children. Among her attributes are crown and sceptre, as a sign of dominion, as well as peacock and pomegranate. A myth says that Hera put the eyes of the hundred-eyed shepherd Argos on the feathers of the peacock after his death. That is how the peacock feathers got their eyes. The set contains goddess Hera with crown, sceptre, peacock and pomegranate.
