Apollo

History

Apollo is the Greek god of light, healing, spring, prophecy and the arts. His twin sister is Artemis, goddess of hunting. Both belong to the twelve Olympic Gods. As protector of the arts he presided over the nine muses and was also worshipped as the god of healing. He also possessed the gift of prophecy, which he could also bestow on mortals. While he granted health and protection to his friends, he brought death, illness and destruction to his enemies. So in the Trojan War he sent the plague to the Greek camp to weaken them. The set contains Apollo, god of light, healing arts and archers with bow and arrow, golden lyre and golden fire bowl with fire.
