Re-enact one of the most famous battles in Greek history, the Battle of Thermopylae. At the beginning of the Second Persian War, in the year 480 BC, the Persian king Xerxes I and the Spartan king Leonidas I clashed. According to ancient tradition, 300 Spartans opposed the overwhelming Persian army. Despite the enormous superiority of the Persian troops, Leonidas decided to hold the bottleneck with his 300 Spartans. The brave Spartans inflicted enormous losses on the Persian army and were able to prevent the Persian advance until the withdrawal of the main Greek army was secured. This battle established the later fame of Sparta that its soldiers would never yield in battle. The 84-piece toy set includes 7 PLAYMOBIL figures, two horses, a chariot, a Persian tent, shields, helmets, weapons and numerous other extras to re-enact the exciting Battle of Thermopylae. An exciting playset for history-loving children aged 4 and up.
