Daedalus and Icarus

History

Daedalus and his son Icarus were imprisoned on the island of Crete by King Minos. To escape from there, the clever inventor Daedalus devised a brilliant plan. Using bird feathers and candle wax, he made wings for his son and himself, and they both flew away. After they had escaped the greatest danger, Icarus became exuberant and, despite his father's warnings, flew higher and higher. The sun melted the wax on his wings and Icarus fell into the sea. The game set contains two PLAYMOBIL figures Daedalus and Icarus with wings.
